Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the customer liaison during system application specification, estimating, quote preparation, order processing, and post-sale troubleshooting.
  • Provide high-quality quoting experience to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to offer conceptual solutions.
  • Foster open communication environments.
  • Support department goals to meet and exceed company objectives efficiently.
  • Address customer questions related to technical applications, pricing, delivery, and capabilities, providing product solutions to resolve issues.
  • Select systems tailored to customer-specific applications, collaborating with team members and departments for nonstandard needs.
  • Estimate margin dollars based on equipment costs for quotations and orders.
  • Discuss application and quotation issues directly with customers.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting and oversee installation processes.
  • Manage projects through engineering and manufacturing phases, coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Participate in engineering system testing.
  • Maintain records, files, and databases for future reference.
  • Handle customer complaints and warranty issues, negotiating credits, refunds, or rework as needed.
  • Act as a customer advocate, representing quality interests and interpreting customer needs and specifications.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.
Candidate Requirements
Education/Experience
  • Highly preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or similar, with 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in business or technology with 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Or: Associate degree with 5-7 years’ experience.
  • Ability to handle pressure, be self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong collaboration skills across functions.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • High integrity and ethical standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Other Qualifications
  • Understanding business implications of decisions.
  • Teamwork and independent work capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity in meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to read drawings and technical specifications, including CAD work.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications and networking concepts.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Willingness to wear PPE in manufacturing areas.
  • Position located in Oklahoma City, OK with hybrid work after 1-year on-site training.
