Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member in Honolulu to deliver friendly service, resolve returns, assist order pickup, and process transactions accurately on the sales floor.

You will mentor new hires on register operations and contribute to a positive, high-energy store environment. In this role you’ll build trust with customers and teammates, support store systems, and promote loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
• Physical requirements: movement, lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent hand use.

A day in the life…

• Hours vary based on business needs, including evenings and weekends

• Physical Requirements:
  • Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
  • Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$17.90 - $18.60 Hourly
