Job Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) quickly (calculator may be used).
• Must be able to give correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Must follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and in a team, handle stress, meet quality‑control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• Sudden changes in temperature in the work area; indoor temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Compact work areas, including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools, e.g., ovens reaching 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Duties

• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries (cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 lb, 3 × 1.5 ft) are unloaded using a hand truck. Items are lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 in high.
• Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or ladder for maintenance tasks.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station for 30‑45 s bouts; repetitive bending at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
• Reaching: Continuous reaching up, down and forward; above 72 in to operate oven controls, change price signs, lift and lower items to/from shelves; below 72 in for scooping cornmeal, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, answering phones.
• Hand Tasks: Continuous eye‑hand coordination; shaping dough, operating pizza peel, rolling cutter, assembling boxes; need use of forearms, wrists, and forceful pinching.
• Sensing: Hearing on telephone; depth perception and near‑mid‑range vision for tasks; differentiation between hot and cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving.
