Job summary

Foresight Technologies Inc is seeking a diligent Customer Service/Order Entry specialist to promote outstanding service daily and act as the front line for contract manufacturing order entry, expediting, quoting, pricing, and availability.

You will enter orders, coordinate with pricing, manage ERP entries, and collaborate with sales and operations to exceed customer expectations, while preparing quotes and maintaining customer records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong time and schedule management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Experience with order entry and customer-facing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and resolve customer concerns to ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Determine charges for services and coordinate billing with other departments.
• Enter orders into the ERP system.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to meet service expectations.
• Prepare quotes and written proposals for customers and prospects.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records and communicate with stakeholders.

Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service daily. They are also providing front line support for customer order entering, order expediting, quoting, pricing and availability for our contract manufacturing customers.

Primary responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Enter orders, manage or escape any concerns and ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ concerns
• Work with price lists and/or other department heads to determine charges for services requested, or arrange for billing
• Order entry into our ERP system
• Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure meeting and exceeding customers’ service expectations
• Sends order acknowledgements and composes letters to customers and potential customers
• Communicates with all individuals whose involvement impacts customer communications
• Primary point of contact for customers, interpreting and implementing customer instructions for the company to produce custom manufacturing products
• Updates customer records
• Prepares and sends quotes and provides written proposals to customers and potential customers
• Interfaces with Account Managers and Director of Sales
• Other duties as assigned
