Job Details

Location: 325 W. Gaines St., Tallahassee, Florida 32309

Duration: 3+ months

Rate: $14/hr (1099)

Customer Service Specialists are needed to answer calls from Florida high school and college students concerning Florida scholarships and grants. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and will renew for the next fiscal year.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from students regarding Florida scholarships and grants.
• Provide students with accurate information and support related to scholarship opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with call procedures and accurate record‑keeping.

• High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Experience working with customer support is a plus.

Applicants must pass a Level 2 screening background check, which includes fingerprinting for statewide and juvenile records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, federal criminal records checks through the FBI, and may include local criminal records checks by local law enforcement agencies.
