Job summary

The Wenger Group in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to ensure producers receive feed proactively and reliably. You will monitor inventory, forecast demand, and initiate outbound calls to confirm orders and delivery schedules.

You will enter orders in JDE, coordinate with Mill Planners and Logistics, and provide proactive updates to producers and internal teams. Strong communication and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience or comparable work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Intermediate computer skills; experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Forecast inventory using forecasting tools and place orders ahead of demand.
• Enter and manage feed orders in the system (e.g., JDE).
• Coordinate with Mill Planners and Logistics to optimize load scheduling and delivery.
• Provide proactive order status updates to producers and internal teams.

Learn more here: https://www.thewengergroup.com **What your day looks like:** **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a critical role in ensuring producers receive feed proactively and reliably. This role goes beyond traditional reactive customer service by leveraging forecasting tools and direct communication to anticipate customer needs before they arise.
