Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Indianapolis team. This full-time role supports order placement, quotes, and showroom assistance with a focus on customer satisfaction and accurate processing.

You will collaborate with outside sales, handle inbound inquiries, and participate in developing solutions for field projects while maintaining strong product knowledge in cabinetry and related materials.

Qualifications

• Related experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, Kitchen & Bath or similar Building Materials.
• Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Team-oriented, shows initiative.
• Strong sense of drive and creativity.
• AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory.
• High School graduate, some college courses preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from customers placing orders as well as provide sales quotes
• Work closely alongside outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes
• Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and order placement
• Solicit new or complimentary sales for customers via phone as well as face-to-face in the showroom
• Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues
• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday dayshift.
