Job summary

Mygrant Glass is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Belleville, NJ to manage orders, returns and inquiries for auto glass customers. You will handle daily deposits, assist with inventory, and support customers via phone and in person.

Ideal candidates have strong telephone skills, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Non-exempt, full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders for auto glass parts and process customer returns.
• Process daily cash, credit cards, and check deposits with accurate data entry.
• Assist with inventory - interact with warehouse inventory control.
• Interact with customers via telephone and in-person providing information and assistance.
• Manage customer accounts with discretion and escalate customer concerns as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and provide solutions within time limits; follow up.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
• Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls.
• Develop working knowledge of evolving products and services to better serve customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

The following responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the company and the employee level.

• Enter customer orders for auto glass parts and process customer returns.
• Process daily cash, credit cards, and check deposits with accurate data entry.
• Assist with inventory - interacting with operation warehouse inventory control.
• Interact with customers via telephone and in-person providing information and assistance.
• Manage customer accounts with discretion and **escalate** customer concerns as needed.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure a solution.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;.
