Job summary

ThompsonGas in Barnum, MN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support growth through customer retention and acquisition. This onsite role requires handling inbound and outbound calls, data entry, and delivering a high level of service with professionalism and warmth.

• Lead outbound calling operations in effort to collect from past due customers
• Enter and update customer account information in CARGAS and MPXsystems
• Process billing payments for walk-in customers
• Responsible for processing driver daily paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Customer Service Representative is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our unprecedented growth by focusing on customer retention, new customer acquisition and customer support. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task successfully. The Customer Service Representative will handle inbound and outbound sales and customer support calls, as well as data entry, with a high level of focus, customer service and quality.

This is an onsite position no hybrid/remote work is available.

Major Job Duties:

• Handle inbound calls by asking probing questions to uncover sales and service opportunities

Education and Experience:

• Degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience (Call center experiencepreferred)
• Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell products in highly competitive environment a must
• Previous experience with CARGAS and MPX systems preferred, but notrequired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with customers
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office and data entryskills
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-pacedenvironment
