Job summary

ADP is hiring Associate Client Support Consultants in Schaumburg, IL. This hybrid role combines office days with remote days, serving clients with 1–49 employees and upholding ADP's reputation for service excellence.

You’ll resolve payroll-related questions, train clients on ADP technology, and work in a metrics-driven environment supported by comprehensive training and career advancement opportunities. Strong communication and adaptability are essential, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a customer service or call/service center environment.
  • Overtime hours during peak seasons may be required.
  • College degree is not required; relevant experience including military experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in managing their payroll solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance.
  • Continually upgrade knowledge on payroll, compliance, and ADP products.
  • Adhere to a daily schedule and manage a high volume of inbound calls, especially during peak periods.
  • Support client satisfaction and build rapport over the phone and via written communication.

In this role, you will serve as ADP's front-line for solving clients' challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, helping clients, training their users on ADP technology, and more. You carry the weight of ADP's service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.


The nature of what you do every day will not change -- your #1 goal is to help clients who have between 1- 49 employees. Still, every day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide each client. There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, which will keep things interesting, and our top-ranked training will help to set you up for success!

Responsibilities


What You Can Expect On a Typical Day


Client Support.

You will help our clients manage their business using our solutions, which could include troubleshooting and probing to resolve payroll issues. Support might also involve partnering with multiple business units and teams for troubleshooting and delivering a seamless client experience.


Learn.

You will continually upgrade your knowledge and skills on payroll, including federal and state compliance, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, other products, and desktop support tools to develop and maintain your ability to support our clients.


Organize.

You adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to deal with a high volume of inbound calls. Daily phone time may increase during peak seasons, like at the close of the year.

Required Qualifications


  • At least one year of experience in a customer service or call/service center environment.

  • You can work overtime hours during peak seasons.

  • A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

    • Experience noted above, OR

What are you waiting for?


Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $17.02 - USD $30.14 / Hour*



  • Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
