General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Communication Skills

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, both over the phone and in person, to process orders.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Accurate and quick mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with optional calculator use.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform rapid, accurate movements.
• Enter orders using keyboard or touch screen.

Exposure To

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
• Sudden changes in temperature while inside or outside.

Physical Requirements

Standing

Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum. Work surfaces range between 36" and 48" in height.

Short distances for short durations.

Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting

• Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lbs, dimensions up to 3' x 1.5') unloaded by hand truck.
• Cases are lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.

Carrying

• Large cans (approx. 3 lbs).
• Pizza sauce (approx. 30 lbs).
• Trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray, three at a time).

Pushing

• Move trays on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly (24"–30") requires up to 7.5 lbs of force to push.
• Trays may also be pulled.

Climbing

Occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.

Stooping/Bending

• Forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, typically 30–45 seconds per instance continually throughout the day.
• Forward bending also occurs at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.

Crouching/Squatting

Performed occasionally for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.

Reaching

• Continuous reaching in all directions.
• Above‑72" reaches when operating oven controls or changing prices on a sign.
• Downward reaches for scooping cornmeal or washing dishes.
• Forward reaches for obtaining toppings, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.

Hand Tasks

• Eye‑hand coordination is essential, with continuous use of hands.
