Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Hagerstown, MD. You will be the face of the company, assisting customers with rentals, using U-Scan tech, and inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.

The role involves driving and moving trucks, educating customers, and processing invoices. On-the-job education is provided, with immediate opportunities to start and earn hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certification offered through U-Haul).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
