Job summary

Amsted Industries' ConMet unit in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage order entry, confirm orders, communicate shipment details, and help resolve invoice issues.

This in-office role requires 2+ years of customer service or inside sales experience, strong communication skills, and readiness to work with ERP systems like SAP; bilingual Spanish desirable. Candidates must commute to the Charlotte office daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of customer service/inside sales experience.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls and emails regarding order status, shipment and invoice issues.
• Provide accurate information for order entry, pricing, ship dates; advise if delays may occur.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with invoice discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers with attentive, empathetic service.
• Manage multiple tasks with high organization and attention to detail.
• Absorb and maintain knowledge of customer service protocols, product catalog, and systems.
