Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working team member for the part-time role of Customer Service Merchandiser. The wage for this position is $16/hr.

The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service while stocking and merchandising items at client locations and managing inventory in vending machines and coolers. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking products, maintaining refrigeration, handling cash from machines, and ensuring clean, well-organized

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries of beverages, bakery, snacks and specialty foods at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.

• Oversee ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and cash from machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas and perform routine sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
