Job summary

Cascade Columbia Distribution Company is seeking a Customer Service Manager & Operations Liaison in Seattle to lead customer service and support order processing, inventory, and shipping documentation. You will manage a team, collaborate with Operations, and ensure accurate invoicing while resolving discrepancies.

The role requires at least 3 years in a distribution or similar setting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and ERP/CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or customer service, preferably in distribution, logistics, chemical distribution, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing people is required, preferably in a customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to dig deep into issues, research root causes, and troubleshoot discrepancies involving customer orders, inventory, warehouse transactions, shipping documents, and invoices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Inventory, and lead a team of Customer Service Representatives.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment and shipment activities with Operations.
  • Review Bills of Lading (BOLs), warehouse records, and inventory interface to ensure shipping accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
  • Verify warehouse transactions, receipts, shipments, and inventory movements for invoicing purposes.
  • Investigate and help facilitate the resolution of discrepancies involving orders, inventory inaccuracies, and warehouse transactions.
  • Research transaction histories and supporting documentation to identify root causes of order fulfillment issues.
  • Work closely with warehouse, inventory, accounting, and sales teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Manager & Operations Liaison to support our customer service and operations.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Manager serves as a key point of contact for customers while supporting order processing, inventory management, shipping documentation, and operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience who possesses strong investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and proven management experience. We are looking for self-driven and highly motivated candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience verifying warehouse transactions and supporting invoicing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 2 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse as needed.\
