Job summary

Jet Aviation in Teterboro, NJ, seeks a Customer Service Lead to drive exceptional service and guide daily operations. You will lead a team, coordinate ground transport, hotel accommodations, and special requests for passengers and crews.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a 24/7 airport environment. Training lasts 4–6 weeks with a 1st shift (10 am–6 pm) and potential shifts afterward.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
  • 2+ years in customer service, aviation or hospitality recommended.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with company policies, contracts and airport regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aviation/customer-service systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support customer service representatives during daily operations.
  • Assign duties, coordinate schedules, and ensure coverage for peak periods.
  • Welcome and assist passengers, flight crews, and guests.
  • Coordinate ground transportation, hotels, rental cars, and special requests.
  • Oversee front-desk activities, calls, emails, reservations, and records.
  • Review invoices and transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA requirements, company policies and regulations.
  • Resolve complaints professionally and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Train and mentor staff on procedures and service standards.
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate updates to the team.
  • Coordinate with pilots, line service, maintenance, and airport officials.
  • Document incidents, complaints, and policy violations.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, welcoming environment.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and administrative duties.

We are looking for team members who can embrace flexibility.• We formally operate 24/7.• The 1st shift (10 am - 6 pm) will be the initial shift, with the potential for changes over time and as business needs and opportunities evolve.• Training for this role is expected to last approximately 4–6 weeks. During the training period, hours may differ from the assigned shift listed based on operational and training needs. Once initial training is successfully completed, you will transition to the assigned shift.The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums.
