Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at our Renton / Seattle, WA service center. You will support our sales team and customers, helping source parts, prepare quotes, and process orders daily.

In this role you will build lasting relationships, upsell where appropriate, and participate in stockroom activities and delivery as needed. Competitive hourly pay with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service, inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry software.
• Attention to detail, time management, organization, & communication.
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Solve customer inquiries, prepare quotes, process/expedite orders & returns.
• Source parts from suppliers nationwide.
• Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, & educating customers.
• Assemble hoses for walk-in customers.
• Help in the stockroom & deliver orders to customers as needed.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $25.00–$29.00/hr depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
