Job summary

Wawa in Maplewood, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with purchases, and prepare items such as breakfast sandwiches and beverages. You will also operate the register, manage payments, fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery verification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas, and keep coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked and shelves are fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep stores clean and safe by following all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
