We are looking for people who enjoy helping others to successfully answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about goods and services from clients of Five Star Call Centers, while providing high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude.
This project involves assisting clients with inquiries on debit card incentives, orders, and balances.
Qualifications
- Previous 1 year customer service or support experience preferred
- Previous 1 year call center or office background experience a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Type 35 words per minute accurately
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Must be 18 years of age
- A background check will be required in accordance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Manage large volumes of inbound calls promptly
- Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives
- Access company and client resources to handle calls accurately
- Seize opportunities to upsell products when appropriate
- Switch between tasks efficiently without loss of composure
- Be punctual and maintain attendance at scheduled times
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions
- Be flexible to cross-train as needed
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $14/hour plus shift differential ($1/hr for nights & weekends)
- Work hours: Shifts between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm CST; Monday-Friday
- Paid training: Approximately 3 days, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST
- Part-time regular status (24 hours weekly)
- Must work Mondays and the first and last business day of each month
