# Customer Service Clerk - HuntoonHot JobHUNTOON - TOPEKA, KS 66614## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelHigh School## Description**Customer Service Clerk – Job Description - Haag Oil Company, LLC****Position Summary**The Cashier performs essential store operations while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.**Essential Responsibilities*** Provide excellent customer service to every customer.* Respond to and report customer complaints tactfully and promptly.* Follow all company safety and security policies.* Identify and eliminate safety hazards; report unsafe acts or conditions to management.* Prepare required accident/incident reports and immediately notify Human Resources.* Report to work on time and adjust to scheduling needs as required.* Operate cash registers and point‐of‐sale equipment efficiently.* Handle cash, safe drops, credit card transactions, and check‐cashing procedures in accordance with company policies.* Prepare shift reports and other reports required by management.* Follow all company policies and applicable laws governing beverage and tobacco sales.* Clean shelves, dispensers, restrooms, store interior, and other designated areas.* Stock, rotate, price, and count merchandise; assist with inventory counts.* Follow loss‐prevention policies to prevent loss of cash and merchandise, including drive‐offs.* Build and remove merchandise displays.* Assist management in maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Area Manager.**Snapshot of Success** The Haag Oil Snapshot of Success establishes the daily expectations for customer service, store appearance, cleanliness, stocking, and the sales floor and store lot.
