Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Pay Station Clerk to manage register operations, assist customers with orders, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked dining and shopping environment. This hourly role supports a fast-paced retail setting and requires a customer-focused, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include handling payments, bagging items, and ensuring supplies for beverages and service areas are available. Training will be provided, and adherence to Hy-Vee policies is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and process payments (cash, checks, credit cards, store charges, discounts).
• Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt service.
• Count back change and issue receipts; bag or box purchases.
• Maintain coffee service area and stocking of supplies as needed.
• Assist with bussing tables in dining areas and run orders to guests when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in work area and follow Hy-Vee policies.
