Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking individual for the part-time Customer Service Attendant role in Venice, FL. You will receive and organize deliveries, stock and merchandise displays, rotate stock and ensure proper storage of perishables.

You will provide cheerful customer service, maintain relationships with clients, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while working a flexible schedule in a team environment.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant.

This is a part-time position in Venice, FL.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
