Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant, Part-time in Shepherdsville, KY. You will greet clients, handle deliveries, stock displays, and maintain clean, attractive merchandising areas while upholding food safety standards.

You will work both independently and with a team, manage time effectively, and provide excellent customer service, promoting products and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise at client locations.

• Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages or preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
