AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hardworking team member for the role of Customer Service Attendant, Part-Time. Founded in 1960, AVI Foodsystems is a respected food service company delivering quality products and impeccable service at client locations.

As a Customer Service Attendant, you will receive and organize deliveries, stock shelves and displays, assist customers, and follow all safety and merchandising standards while building positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries at client locations.
• Stock shelves, coolers, vending machines, and displays to be visually appealing.
• Rotate and remove expired or stale products and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain clean, organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages and preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
