Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser to service our markets for a large global E-Commerce organization. In this role you will receive and organize deliveries, stock shelves and displays, rotate stale products, and maintain attractive merchandising areas while providing friendly customer service and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise at client locations.
• Stock shelves, coolers, vending machines and market displays.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired products.
• Maintain properly stored refrigerated and perishable items.
• Keep displays clean, attractive and organized.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain relationships.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Part-time Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser. This position is located in the Wilmington, DE area and will work at a large global E-Commerce organization to service our markets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
