Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant in Virginia Beach, VA. This part-time role focuses on delivering excellent service, stocking displays, and assisting clients at client locations.

You will work both independently and with a team, promote products, and maintain organized merchandising while following food safety standards. Training and growth opportunities are available within a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to standards; stock shelves, displays, and designated areas.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired or stale products.
• Ensure proper storage of refrigerated and perishable items.
• Maintain attractive and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant.

This is apart-time position in Virginia Beach, VA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
