Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant for Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7am to 12pm. The role involves receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining clean, organized areas at client sites in the Indianapolis area.

You will interact with customers and colleagues, promote products, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and reliable service.

• Ensure refrigerated and perishable items are stored properly.
• Maintain attractive displays and merchandising areas.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant. This position is Saturday and Sunday 7am - 12pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
