Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate II at our Horn Lake, MS store. You will assist with daily operations, from merchandising to supporting customers, ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment and flexible to support front-end duties.

You will handle merchandise receipt, stocking, cash register duties, and maintain the safety and integrity of cash and assets. Previous retail experience and strong customer service skills are preferred; part-time schedule available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate cash handling procedures.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Your Role:

As a Customer Service Associate II, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of your assigned store, from merchandising to supporting customers. While focusing on providing a clean, welcoming environment, you will be fully cross-trained to support the cash register and able to switch to front-end duties as needed.

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned*

Your Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required
