Job summary

Dollar Tree in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities include processing purchases, unloading merchandise, maintaining restroom cleanliness, and supporting leadership with daily operations. This is a part-time position based at our Tennessee store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. and endure standing/walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
