Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

The role requires reliable teamwork, good communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Previous retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash areas.
