Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in-store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain stock, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment for shoppers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and performing physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills expected.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
