Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate in Seminary, MS. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and safeguard cash and assets while keeping the store stocked and presentable.

The role requires reliable teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with a willingness to follow instructions and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*
