Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our store team. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, safety, and efficient merchandise flow. Candidates should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and work in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail or similar.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and tolerate standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Operate assigned cash register and process transactions.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Stock and replenish merchandise; keep store well stocked.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist customers with questions and recommendations

Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register

Maintain security of cash and protect company assets

Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise

Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards

Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
