Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in New Bern, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store organized and welcoming.

You will manage the cash register, help stock merchandise, and maintain a safe, friendly environment while delivering reliable service. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
