Job summary

Family Dollar in Louisville, Alabama is seeking a part-time store associate to assist customers, answer questions, and process sales at the register.

You will keep the store clean, stock merchandise, receive shipments, and help unload trucks while following safety procedures and protecting store assets.

A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail or customer service experience is highly valued; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
