Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, keep the store stocked, and help unload merchandise while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; ability to lift 30–50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities
