Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer at the Warren, Michigan store. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and presentable while upholding safety and a friendly, respectful atmosphere.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*
