Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a part-time Store Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store appearance. You will help stock shelves, unload merchandise, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and team members.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, protecting company assets, and performing cleaning tasks to keep the store presentable at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
