Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Highland Heights, Ohio is seeking part-time sales associates to help customers, operate cash registers, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, safeguarding assets, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a tidy, safe shopping environment. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
