Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Herndon, VA is seeking a Customer Service Associate for part-time work to help create a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires good communication, strong organizational skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, with a commitment to safety and respectful interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
