Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking team members for a part-time role at East Wareham, MA. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, physical stamina, and strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.

Job description

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
