Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate for part-time work in East Brunswick, NJ. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, stocked store while ensuring a safe and friendly shopping environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and adherence to store standards with potential for growth and development. This is a part-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
