Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time store associate in Calais, ME to assist customers, process sales at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock. You will help unload merchandise and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; training will be provided for store procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
