Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring for a part-time position at our Cahokia, IL location. The associate will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and stocked. You will unload trucks, replenish merchandise, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and team members.

Responsibilities include following operational guidelines, lifting up to 50 lbs, and providing excellent service. This role offers a path to growth within a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
