Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. in Birch Run, Michigan is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers, handle sales at the register, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will help with unloading trucks, restocking merchandise, and upholding safety and courtesy standards daily.

The role requires reliable, friendly service, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Previous retail or service experience is preferred and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
