Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Annapolis, MD is looking for a friendly Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions, and keep the store well stocked. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and ensure a safe, clean shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail service experience is preferred. It also calls for physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and to stand and walk for long periods while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
