Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of retail experience.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Engages customers, greets, assists with products and services, and resolves issues.
• Recommends items and trade‑ups; handles returns, exchanges, voids, and refunds.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, merchandised, and priced as directed.
• Maintains asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays; supports resets and promotions.
• Assists with stock rotation and restocking; uses FIFO where applicable.
• Works with store systems and equipment; supports photo area and web pick‑ups.
• Participates in exterior and interior store upkeep and special assignments.
