Dollar Tree, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run the store operations, merchandising, and front-end support while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers.

You will be cross-trained to assist with the cash register and other duties as needed, delivering friendly service and protecting company assets in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Your positive, friendly disposition and eagerness to get things done make you the right person for our Customer Service Associate II position.

Your Role:

As a Customer Service Associate II, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of your assigned store, from merchandising to supporting customers. While focusing on providing a clean, welcoming environment, you will be fully cross‑trained to support the cash register and able to switch to front‑end duties as needed.

Your day‑to‑day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards Merchandising and stocking as needed Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets Other duties as assigned*

Your Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required Strong organizational and communication skills are required Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required High level of integrity is required Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required
