Job summary

NVR, a leading homebuilder in the United States, is seeking a Customer Service Associate for its Material Add‑Order Call Center. The role involves handling material shortage inquiries, researching requests, and coordinating deliveries with various stakeholders.

The candidate should have at least 2+ years in administration, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming emails and/or calls from contractors, costing managers, and project managers regarding material shortages.
• Initiate delivery of material by researching request specifics, entering shortage information, and applying codes to Add‑Order Forms.
• Liaise with ASD, Procurement, Distributors, Contractors, and Homebuilding to facilitate material deliveries.
• Recommend ongoing best practices related to the call center.

As a Customer Service Associate at NVR, you will be an integral part of the team in the Material Add‑Order Call Center.

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle incoming emails and/or calls from contractors, costing managers, and project managers regarding material shortages
• Initiate delivery of material by researching material request specifics, entering shortage information, and applying reason codes to Add‑Order Forms
• Liaise with ASD, Procurement, Distributors, Contractors, and Homebuilding as needed to facilitate material deliveries
• Recommend ongoing best practices related to the call center

Qualifications

• 2+ years Administrative experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator
• High energy with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work effectively on a fast‑paced team in a professional environment
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is a plus
• Customer Service experience is a plus
• Residential home building knowledge is a plus
