Overview

Join to apply for the Customer Service Associate role at Floor & Decor.

The position has base pay starting at $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay based on experience. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite customers about their purchases.
• Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Process customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Open and close registers; follow cash, check, and credit card procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to company guidelines.
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise as required; create price tags and merchandise signs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Potential travel to other stores for support

Working Conditions

• While performing duties, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise levels are typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Medium work – ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently; other strenuous activities as needed. Regular use of hands and fingers; standing, walking, reaching, and other movements as required.

Hours

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
